In 1996, Saltuk Buğra Samir graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering and started his professional career at Alarko Group of Companies in 1998. He continued his career in Borusan Group and Dikkan Group companies respectively. With a total of 27 years of experience in Turkey’s leading industrial and distributorship organizations, Mr. Samir has worked as sales and marketing manager, project manager, business development and finally as plant manager.
After receiving the 6 sigma black belt certificate at Borusan Group, he turned to project management and process improvement due to his field of interest, and led various projects for the development of the companies he worked for, in addition to his primary duties.
He has been a project leader in ERP integration processes in the companies he has worked for, and has undertaken strategic planning and coordination tasks. In addition, in his last company, he led the establishment of the department related to business development and worked on lean production processes in line with company goals.
Samir has been a mentor in the ÇYDD mentor – mentee program for 5 years and is a member of the project coordination team. With the philosophy of adding value to organizations from his experience and offering various corporate solutions together, he left the company he worked for in 2021 and became a founding partner of Varipo Corporate Solutions.
